Simple Plan Rilis Single Baru Berjudul 'The Antidote' Setelah Dua Tahun Libur dari Dunia Musik

Sewaktu.com -- Band rock asal Kanada Simple Plan merilis single barunya berjudul 'The Antidote' setelah sempat libur dari dunia musik selama dua tahun.

Kabarnya lagu 'The Antidote' ditulis dan melakukan rekaman jauh sebelum pandemi Covid-19. Mereka mengatakan bahwa lagu 'The Antidote' terasa semakin relevan setelah semua yang terjadi selama 20 bulan terakhir.

Pasalnya lagu 'The Antidote' ini berbicara tentang betapa pentingnya memiliki seseorang atau sesuatu yang dituju untuk melepas beban kehidupan yang terasa sangat sulit.

Mereka juga berharap bahwa musik dan lagu mereka dapat memiliki kekuatan untuk menyembuhkan luka, menghibur, dan menjadi penyelamat bagi para fansnya yang sedang mengalami masa-masa sulit seperti sekarang ini.

Single 'The Antidote' yang ditulis sendiri oleh member Simple Plan Pierre Bouvier dan Chuck Comeau dibantu oleh Andrew Goldstein selaku musisi, penyanyi, penulis lagu, produser rekaman asal Amerika Serikat.

Single yang diproduseri oleh Zakk Cervini ini dirilis pada tanggal 5 November 2021 diplatform-platform streaming musik online.
